Platform rules

Terms of Use

1. Provider and scope

Talbio is operated by Ouda Aboumanify, Friedrichstraße 155, 10117 Berlin, Germany. These terms apply to candidate and employer use of the Talbio reverse-recruitment platform.

2. The service

Talbio provides a manually vetted network in which approved employers may browse anonymous professional profiles and send specific opportunities. Candidates decide whether to decline or approve each request. Talbio facilitates introductions but does not guarantee interviews, employment, candidate availability or successful placement.

3. Accounts and verification

Users must provide accurate, current information, protect their credentials and use their own identity or authorised company role. Talbio may request reasonable verification information, reject access, suspend accounts or remove content to protect users and the service.

4. Candidate terms

Candidate access is currently free. Candidates control profile visibility, may block employers and must avoid confidential employer information, unlawful content and special-category personal data in free-text fields. Approving an opportunity authorises Talbio to represent the candidate and share the candidate’s profile and contact details with the named employer for that opportunity only.

5. Employer terms

Employers must have a genuine recruitment purpose and may use candidate data only to assess and communicate about the opportunity approved by that candidate. Employers must not scrape, copy, resell, build external databases from, disclose or use candidate information for unrelated roles, marketing or discrimination. Employers are independently responsible for their recruitment processing and applicable employment and data-protection law after receiving candidate information.

6. Fees

Candidate use is free. Any employer placement fee, including its calculation, due date, replacement terms and scope, is governed by a separate written commercial agreement. Website statements do not replace that agreement.

7. Prohibited use

Users must not circumvent privacy controls, impersonate others, submit misleading opportunities, introduce malicious code, interfere with security, harvest data, or use Talbio unlawfully. Automated extraction and unauthorised commercial reuse are prohibited.

8. Availability and changes

Talbio is an early-stage service and may be changed, interrupted or discontinued. Reasonable care is taken, but uninterrupted availability and error-free operation are not guaranteed.

9. Liability

Liability is unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, fraudulent concealment, guarantees and mandatory statutory liability. For ordinary negligence involving an essential contractual duty, liability is limited to foreseeable damage typical for the contract. Otherwise, liability for ordinary negligence is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

10. Termination

Users may request account closure at any time. Talbio may suspend or terminate access for material breaches, security risks, false information or unlawful use. Data handling after closure is described in the Privacy Notice.

11. Law and venue

German law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections of their country of residence. Mandatory statutory rules on jurisdiction remain unaffected.

12. Contact

Questions or notices may be sent to ouda@oudagamal.com.
